COMEDY CREDITS
I have created comedy material for many performers including Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller. Miss Diller donated 50,000 of her jokes to the Smithsonian Institute and some of the donated ones are mine. In fact, she quoted one of my jokes in an article appearing in Smithsonian Magazine.
I have also written material for ventriloquists, jugglers, escape artists, magicians and stage pickpockets. My humorous (and sometimes serious) speeches have been used by hundreds of speakers, performers and business owners.
Some of my other work includes jokes for greeting cards, humorous material for magazines such as the business magazine, Fast Company, a book on how to write comedy, and short animation scripts. For many years I published,"Comedy On A Stick," a joke service that included many top radio personalities as subscribers.
I have taught courses on how to write humor at the Learning Annex and other schools. I have also created (with a writing partner) several feature-length screenplays which are in the hands of various production companies.
I am a recipient of the Robert Benchley Society Humor Award as judged by well-known political comedian Mark Russell. (He had a show on PBS for many years.)
